Paris-Based Oh My Cream Acquires Atelier Nubio

Oh My Cream has acquired French natural nutritional supplements and collagen broth brand Atelier Nubio from receivership.WHO: Claire Nouy founded Nubio in 2014 with juice cleanses. In 2019, the brand transitioned into collagen broths and supplements. The range has grown to 15 supplements, two broths, and a small range of accessories. The brand launched with Oh My Cream in 2021 and quickly became the number-one supplement label. It is also sold in about 30 retailers across French concept stores, pharmacies, spas, and other beauty retailers.Oh My Cream was launched in 2013 by Juliette Lévy Cohen as a multi-brand beauty concept / store featuring premium and clean labels. The retailer today has a footprint of 26 stores in Europe, of which 12 are in Paris, and an e-commerce site. Six years ago, Oh My Cream also created a private-label skincare brand with roughly 30 stock-keeping units.WHY: Nubio was placed into receivership earlier this year, and the Paris commercial court formally approved the sale to Oh My Cream.IN THEIR OWN WORDS: "We thought it's the right time for us to consider buying another supplements brand, because we believe so much in the category," Lévy Cohen told WWD.
